How to Extend / Enable the RTR's FrontPage�
Server Extensions 2002 for IIS 8.5, IIS 8 and IIS 7.5 for your Web Site
- Go to the IIS Manager
- Verify that either Basic authentication or Windows authentication
is enabled for the website that will be extended and administered.
Do NOT enable both at the same time.
- Click on "Microsoft SharePoint Administrator"
- Click on the "Browse Web Site" link
- On the FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 Server Administration
page, click on the "Extend" link for the site you want to enable with
FPSE
- On the FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 Extend virtual server with
FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 page, enter the Administrator user
name (example mysite\Administrator)
- Click on the 'Submit' button
- On the FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 Server Administration
page, click on the "Administration" link for the site you just
extended with FPSE
- On the FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 Virtual Server
Administration page, click on Go to Site administration for ....'your
site'
- You will be directed to the Site Administration page
- Use this page to administer your Web site. By using the links on
this page, you can perform tasks such as adding a new user, inviting
people to your site, configuring settings for your Web site, and
adding or deleting a subweb.
